A document issued by the Center that authorizes an individual to carry out work or activities related to the establishment of a meteorological station and the completion of all associated tasks, in accordance with the requirements of the National Center for Meteorology.
Submit the application through the platform:
- Pay the service fee
- Attach proof of land ownership, lease contract, exploitation deed, or allocation decision issued by an official authority in the Kingdom, provided the documents are certified and authenticated
- Attach an approved engineering drawing from a qualified engineering consultancy office
- Attach a cadastral map from the relevant authorities showing the proposed station site and its coordinates
- Attach the official documents of the license applicant (commercial registration if available, showing the nature of activity, or supporting documents, registration with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, VAT certificate, valid national ID or residency permit)
- Attach a technical report and preliminary study on the nature of the activity and purpose of the station, in accordance with the technical standards issued by the National Center for Meteorology
- Attach station construction designs based on the technical specifications for the essential internal services required to operate the station
- Attach a building permit from the municipality or city authority with jurisdiction over the station location, following the completion of all regulatory procedures required by the Center
- Attach a site suitability certificate for the proposed licensed location, prepared and approved by a meteorology expert or consultant affiliated with the Center
- Sign an acknowledgment undertaking the authenticity of all submitted documents, with the license applicant bearing full legal and civil responsibility in case of any inaccuracies
- Attach any other documents requested by the Center

- Attach a technical report and preliminary study on the nature of the activity and the purpose of the station, ensuring compliance with the technical standards issued by the National Center for Meteorology
- Attach the station construction designs based on the technical specifications for internal basic services required for station operation
- Attach the building permit issued by the municipality or local authority under whose jurisdiction the station site falls, following completion of all regulatory procedures required by the center
- Attach a site suitability certificate for the station to be licensed, prepared and approved by a weather expert or consultant affiliated with the center
- Agree to a declaration confirming the authenticity of all submitted documents and accepting full legal and civil responsibility in case of any discrepancies
- Attach any other documents requested by the center
- The license fee will be determined at a later stage.
Clarifications:
- The costs cover the study of a single station request. If there are additional stations within a 40-kilometer radius of the site, an extra fee will be added for each additional station, provided the inspection is conducted during the same visit, in accordance with the evaluation of the visiting team.

Once service approval is granted, the beneficiary will receive an invoice via email. The fee can be paid through the “SADAD” service.
